Cut with sour cabbage, sour cream and cheese in the oven
Step 1. We clean the onion, wash it well and chop it finely. Rinse the cabbage with cold water (if it is too sour, leave it to desalt, about 10-15 minutes!), Drain / squeeze the water and cut it very finely or finely, as we like. Pour the oil into a pan, heat it well and first fry the onion, 2-3 minutes, until it becomes like a bottle, then add the finely chopped cabbage and fry them together (without adding water!), Over low heat, about 10 -15 minutes, stirring occasionally so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan, then turn off the heat. Season with ground pepper and paprika, to taste! We only add salt if needed!
Step 2. Put boiling water in a pot with very little salt. When the water boils, put the pasta and boil it according to the instructions on the package. When they are ready, we strain them, rinse them with cold water and let them drain.
Step 3. Mix the sauerkraut with the boiled noodles and transfer to an oven tray or a suitable bowl. Pour the cream and sprinkle the grated cheese on top. I used sliced cheese, which I cut into small pieces (that's what I had on hand!).
Step 4. Put the dish in the hot oven and leave over medium heat, until the cheese melts and a golden crust forms. It does not need to stay too long because all the ingredients are already cooked and it is only necessary to homogenize the tastes and melt the cheese.
