Yes, I know, this is not the traditional couscous, the very small one. But I usually find this in our stores and we like it very much. Especially children love it and then I try to cook it in as many combinations as possible. Okay, I admit, I like it too because it cooks easily and quickly and I have minimal headaches.

Today I decided to combine couscous with a casserole of hearts and chicken breasts and, of course, vegetables.

ingredients

1/2 cup peas
1/2 cup broccoli

First I chopped the onion and lightly fried it in hot oil. When it became glassy, ​​I added the carrot to the fine grater (or you can grind it in the food processor). We left them together on the fire until the carrot started to leave the color.

When they are finely chopped, I put them over the onion and carrot and I add rosemary and pepper, so that they taste better. After a few minutes, quench with about 3 cups of water. I recommend that you always put water gradually, in order to be able to appreciate better what you need.
Wait until the water boils and boils for at least 10-15 minutes and add broccoli and peas, along with the couscous.
When they are all cooked, take them off the heat and add the freshly chopped parsley.
